OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(32 + (8 − 2) * 4 − 6)/ 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh well yeah i guess thats what i meant!..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please excuse my dear aunt sally (pemdas) from left to right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i say it cuzz the the dot wont be recognize by a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(32 + (8 − 2) * 4 − 6)/ 3 plug that into the windows calc or google

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i just divide the 6over3 fraction 6 by 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cuz i kinda get the whole pemads thng im just confused what im uspposed to do with the fraction :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(32 + (8 − 2) * 4 − 6)/ 3 ^ parenthesis (32 + 6 * 4-6)/3 ( ) multiplication of 6 and 4 (32 + 24 - 6)/3 ad and sub left to right 50/3 divide 16.666...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok but what do i do with the fractionnn? like can you explain to me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which fraction? the 50/3 well you can use calc to get 16.666.... or leave it as is. BTW non of your choices match up to what i got. And I did it both manually and with calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

draw it out instead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one that is 6/ 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1360347039084:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get 54 if i do it like that. the 6/3 is = to 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah omg this is so awkward. i knew how to do that.. im so retarded smh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

silly goose

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol my bad..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant 3^2 not 32 actually.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it is 6/3^2 which is 6/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nono i meant from the beggging of the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Instead of 32 + (8 − 2) • 4 − 6 / 3 Its supposed to be 3^2 + (8 − 2) • 4 − 6/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh sorry ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now i get 9 :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ik thats what i got.. But its not an option!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

draw the whole thing out
