Could someone pretty please help me with this question..? How did the Boxer Rebellion of 1899–1900 weaken China? The Chinese government lost thousands of its best soldiers fighting against the rebellion. The Chinese emperor and his advisors were killed in the rebellion. The Boxer Rebellion led to a civil war in which pro-government and anti-government forces damaged each other. After crushing the rebellion, the colonial nations demanded payment and additional power over China.

Well, we know its not A. or B., so we're left with C. and D...

okay! thank you so much! I'm taking a pretest so I haven't learned this stuff yet. Nice right?

Been there :S I would say the answer is D. [After crushing the rebellion, the colonial nations demanded payment and additional power over China.] "China was also forced to pay almost $333 million in reparations." http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Boxer_Rebellion

AWESOME! yeah i just looked on wikipedia and found that it wasn't a civil war so that eliminates C!

Thank you soooo much! :DDD
