Use a clock or stopwatch to take your pulse rate while sitting relaxed. Record the number of beats for thirty seconds. Now, walk out your front door and run around your house, then come back inside. Take your pulse again and record the number of beats for thirty seconds. What is the percent increase in your pulse rate? Show your work. Round your percent to the nearest whole number.

I don't know that stuff. It sounds like a survey. I don't have stopwatch or pulse reading machine. sorry, I cannot help

i just did it and my sitting pulse is 40 and the walk around my house is 55

ok. i got it. so, at first, your pulse is 40. then your pulse is 55. so it increases from 40 to 55. that means it increases 15 points. right? the percent it increases from those is (15*100)/ 40 = 37.5% . don't forget "INCREASING PERCENT" . I don't know it is right or not. long time ago, I didn't use this logic. check at your book.

if rounded, it nearly 38%
