ln(e^x -2) = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ln(e^x-2) = 3 // you can re-write the equation this way. e^x -2 = e^3 // add 2 to both sides e^x = 2+e^3 // reintroduce the ln ln(e^x) = ln(2+e^3) // power of the e^x can be pulled out of the ln x*ln(e) = ln(2+e^3) // ln(e) = 1 x = ln(2+e^3)
