Determine which relation is a function. {-(3, 2), -(1, 3), (-1, 2), (0, 4), (1, 1)} {(-3, 2), (-2, 3), (-1, 1), (0, 4), (0, 1)} {(-3, 3), (-2, 3), (-1, 1), (0, 4), (0, 1)} {(-3, 2), (-2, 3), (-1, 2), (0, 4), (1, 1)}

Haha a function consisting of ordered pairs :) With each ordered pair (x, y), I'm going to call x the input and the y, the output :)

For the relation to be a function, each input must only have one output. Though two inputs may have the same output, of course :) Take that FIRST relation for instance. You have (1, 3), (1, 2), (1, 1) For your input 1, you have THREE possible outputs... that's definitely no function :P
