Thinking about what this "thoes" could mean "These Os and Es; these; those; The Os/Es" hurt my brain. Anyways, If it's in base 10, then we have that: \[ 2\cdot O\equiv E\mod 10 \]And that: \[ E+O\equiv O \mod 10 \]We can solve this by saying: \[ E=0, O=0 \]Or \[ E=0, O=5 \]But the latter doesn't hold, so E and O must equal zero.
