Im sorry but I am frustrated with this one. I have been trying to go over this one problem trying to get it into lowest terms. Can you explain it to me? 75/100 in lowest terms step by step. the answer it says in the book is 3/4 but i like to know how they came up with that answer. I tried on my own but i cant get the right factor into both 75 and 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, you want to find the greatest number that divides equally into both numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right. i was trying so hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the number would be 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i listed them out next to each but could not figure it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see. i didnt make it that high up yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25>75>3 25>100>4 3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for you guys help. i was studying the example and it has the answer to the example problem but it did not have step by step
