Not, it isn't, because if you evaluate (3,4) in 3x-y, you get 3(3)-4=5, and it has to be equal to 4, so it isn't because 4 and 5 aren't the same.

well substitute x = 3 and y = 4 into each equation and see if you get 14 and 4 as solutions.

thank you in the first equation I get 14 but the second one does not equal 4 so I said no just make sure.
