I'm not understanding what this means can anyone please help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

de, estar, tener or ser its really the grammar that im not getting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

de estar tener ser

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of be have be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by the grammar? Like how those four words are used?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

De and Tener act very similarly to the English "of/from" and 'To have," but Ser and Estar are weird. They both mean "to be," but estar is generally used for temporary things (such as how you're feeling), whereas Ser is for more permanent things (such as your personality or physical appearance). You can remember when to use estar with HELP- health, emotions, location, and present progressive (the "am" in "I am running").
