I give medals =] find the indicated sums and differences 4/7x^2 - 3/2X^3

// is this what you have? \[\frac{4}{7}*x^{2} - \frac{3}{2}*x^{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, 7x^2 and 2x^3 are denominators

@tomo

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try giving them a common denominator of 14x^3 so you start with 4/(7x^2) - 3/(2X^3) multiply the first term by (2x/2x) and the second term by 7/7 to get a common denominator of 14x^3. then you can subtract the numerators and have a common denominator.
