D because the union blocked the Confederates from getting supply's out and in from out side the states.
i just realized they all have the same map so i'll just give you the question. What can be concluded from the Union's desire to blockade ports in the South? The Union navy was large and effective. Southern port cities were also industrial centers. Foreign nations were willing trade partners with the Confederacy. No foreign nations were willing to assist the Confederacy.
