To find the square root of 18 in simplest form, its √9 x 2 , and then you do √9√2 to get 3√2. But my question is, why do you have to do 9 and 2? 6 x 3 is 18 too. I would imagine its because neither 6 or 3 has a whole number square root right? What happens if any possible products for a number you pick you pick, neither has a whole square root?
