Which of these is equivalent to the law of conservation of energy? (Points : 1) The total mechanical energy is always conserved. Friction is a nonconservative force. Kinetic energy can be transformed into thermal energy. The total energy of all types remains the same in a closed system.

how did you get that answer?
mechanical energy = potential + kinetic energies
and they just switch back and forth pretty much

it would be the last one i guess. :) there might be another type of energies in a closed system and they also remain the same amounth of total energy.
