Which of these groups would have supported the Five-Power Naval Treaty of 1922? taxpayers of all the nations involved shipbuilders of all the nations involved naval officers of Britain and the United States the nations on the losing side in the Great War
@Fools101
I'm pretty sure is C Armaments (1921–1922). Settlement of Far Eastern questions, principally through the Four-Power and Nine-Power treaties, made possible the 1922 Naval Treaty of Washington, which placed limitations upon capital ships, aircraft carriers, and Far Eastern naval bases. Aggregate battleship tonnage was restricted to 525,000 for the United States and Great Britain, 315,000 for Japan, and 175,000 for France and Italy. This quota required the United States to scrap twenty-eight capital ships then under construction or completed. Competitive building of cruisers, destroyers, and submarines continued until the 1930 London Treaty. Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/five-power-naval-treaty#ixzz2Lqz6Fz1S

coolz! What was the goal of The Kellogg-Briand Pact? for the signing nations to use war as a last resort to bring smaller nations into international affairs to bring the U.S. into the League of Nations for Germany to show that it was not as warlike as it formerly had been
Is A =) pretty sure it is The Kellogg-Briand Pact, also known as the Pact of Paris, after the city where it was signed on August 27, 1928, was an international treaty "providing for the renunciation of war as an instrument of national policy." It failed in its purpose but was significant for later developments in international law. It was named after the American Secretary of State Frank B. Kellogg and French foreign minister Aristide Briand, who drafted the pact. In its original form, the Pact of Paris was a renunciation of war between France and the US. However, Frank B. Kellogg, then U.S. Secretary of State, wanted to retain American freedom of action; he thus responded with a proposal for a multilateral pact against war open for all nations to become signatories, in hopes of diluting the French proposal into a meaningless statement of utopian idealism
I sees.
=) is that good? if not let me know! ^_^
What was the purpose of the Four Power Treaty of 1921? to respect the independence of former colonies to set a timetable for a repayment of war debts to prevent future conflict in the Pacific and East Asia to formally end the alliance that had won the Great War
I think is C By the Four-Power Treaty, all parties agreement to maintain the status quo in the Pacific, by respecting the Pacific holdings of the other countries signing the agreement, not seeking further territorial expansion, and mutual consultation with each other in the event of a dispute over territorial possessions. However, the main result of the Four Power Treaty was the termination of the Anglo-Japanese Alliance of 1902. The Four-Power Treaty was also an attempt at preventing future wars so that the United States could continue its isolationist-oriented direction of foreign policy, which it held until the beginning of World War II in Europe (1939). Not sure
Thanks for explaining it too, I learn so much from OpenStudy than my teachers! Yeas here is another one. Which of these was one cause of the outbreak of the Red Scare? the revolution in Russia the Wall Street bombing the Sacco-Vanzetti case the end of the Great War
I know is not D! Following the end of The Great War (WW I) the "Red Scare" developed in the United States. It was partly caused by a fear of communists, socialists, anarchists, immigrants, and radical labor groups that were developing in industrialized nations at this time. Plus, the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia also added to the fear that communism might prove to be a true menace to the political, social, and economic life of the US. A series of anarchist bombings in the nation caused this fear to increase among the population. Because many, including government officials, feared that a Bolshevik type of revolution was near at hand, innocent people were jailed and the civil liberties of many were ignored. In the early years of the 1920s, the scare seemed to disappear as quickly as it had begun. so i am not sure! sorry!
For the first question C is incorrect!!!
CORRECTION FOR FIRST QUESTION: it's A taxpayers of all the nations involved I just took the test
