I need help with Precalculus?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, just replace the value of y and z into the equation to get z for that pair, you get an order of three: x,y,z. for example, y =-2, z=1 then you have x =3*(-2) -1=-7. you have the first order < -7,-2,1> so on...is it what you need or I misunderstand the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the second pair of y, z you have another x, after three time, you have 3 of x , replace those three x into the < , , > you get the answer. you do it. I check.

the last two is correct but the first one is not and please check whether you type a wrong answer or not, it should be -7 because, the first y is -2 --> 3y =-6 and the first z is 1 then -6-1=-7, cannot be 7. if it is so, you have it done, if it's not so, I am sorry, i don't know how to say
