1- they are looking for Kennedy would be my guess but Kennedy did not use the term civil rights and I am guessing did not mean civil rights as he was talking human rights. Reagan also got close with his 'Tear down this wall speech' but he was not talking civil rights either. I did not see that Hitler used the civil rights terminology much but that might be a translational thing - I don't know what the German equivalent would be. Also did not see that Truman equated the rights of the West Germans with civil rights...just human rights. So - none of the above is the right answer - jfk probably the answer that they are looking for.

3d 4c 5d 6a --- but then why didnt the soviet union veto UN action? Also since the Chinese were closer and have more ties with NKorea what was their role? I don't think the Stalin did it answer is the best...the best of the choices available but probably too simple, reality wise. thanks for medals =)

7b - 8b 9a 10a - although i would think moving the missiles to cuba in the first place would really be the proximate cause
