write a polynomial equation in standard form that has the solutions 3 and -2. can you explain how I do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-3)(x+2) multiply out into a polynomial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the solutions have to be 3 and -2, the equations would become x-3 and x+2. then you just multiply those two expressions together. (x-3)(x+2) = x^2 +2x - 3x -6. then you combine like terms. x^2-x-6
