The line “How to find my soul a home” probably refers to finding inner peace behaving well moving to a new town leaving family members The line “Where water is not thirsty” is an example of which type of figurative language? symbol metaphor simile personification
@tafkas77
Hey there! :D Do you have any guess on these? I read them, and I can help you out if you don't have any idea where to start.
ok i dont think its leaving family members or behaving well
maybe finding inner peace but it could be moving to a new town
Great! It's definitely not one of those. "Finding inner peace" seems like a good option, because the soul has to do with the inside. Moving to a new town doesn't seem like the best option in my opinion, because it has nothing to do with internal conflict - maybe external, or environmental, but not internal. What do you think?
ya i fell like the inner peace thing is just so deep it makes sense
Perfect. Now for your next question - hmm, some more vocab. Do you need help with these?
2nd one is definetly not a simile
Wonderful. Now I have a question. Are you familiar with metaphor or personification?
metaphor maybe probably not a symbol
Nope, it's not a symbol. Now, a metaphor is usually an image or an idea tat means something else. Do you think it's metaphor?
*that
hmmmm where water is not thirsty i dunno ti could be
And personification is adding human-like qualities or ideas to inanimate (not alive) objects. So what do you think?
personification because water cannot be thirsty its a human thing
PERFECT. :)
you are awesomesauce!
Well; I have to go soon; do you need anymore help?
And you think I am awesomesauce?! WOW, that is some serious praise. Thank you! You rock! ;)
