If we get something like (4-x^3)^100 can we just use the power rule... 100*4-x^3)^99.(-3x^2) ? would this be considered correct?

are you just taking the first derivative. if so then yes. // remember to add the parentheses before the 4 100*(4-x^3)^99.(-3x^2)

I'm not sure what the first or second derivative means haha, just started learning derivatives
