God do i hate math : Last question for the night lol Help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

math is really fun though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree. ^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For first one, use tan.

OpenStudy (comm.dan):

I love math so much, also @RD⁴² and @nicolek9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im sorry i have to go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to do the first one? @bubblybiishh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You use tangent for first one. Tan(x) = 6/7 Tan^1(6/7) = x x = 40.601 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i got the first one done

OpenStudy (comm.dan):

Bye @nicolek9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about the second one ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Second one... Use sine!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would the second one be sin 40 = 12/x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the third sin 58 = 18/x ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are correct about second one, but not third one. You are supposed to use cosine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, you are correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin 40 = 12/x X = 12/40 = 0.3 for the second one cos58 = x/18 X = 18cos58 = 9.5 for the third am i right or no ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

third one is right. Second one, it is supposed to be \(\dfrac{12}{\sin{(40^\text{o})}}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanxx :)
