Easy one ( I hope): Suppose P is invertible and A=PBP^-1. Solve for B in terms of A. I believe the answer is just A=B. Because applying P to B, and then applying the inverse to that should just "undo" everything P did.. right?

hartnn (hartnn):

does matrix multiplication follow commutative law ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind, I think thats incorrect. Should be \[P^{-1}AP = B\]

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, thats correct.

thanks!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
