Okay for Question one..First A Meteor is a meteoroid that burns up as it passes through the Earth’s atmosphere is known as a meteor. A Meteorite is a meteoroid that survives falling through the Earth’s atmosphere and colliding with the Earth’s surface is known as a meteorite.

A coma is a diffuse cloud of gas and dust surrounding the nucleus of a comet. As a comet nears the inner solar system, heat from the sun vaporizes some of the ice on the surface of the nucleus, spewing gas and dust particles into space. This gas and dust forms the comet’s coma. So wouldn't the answer be heat from the sun? O.o

oops read it too fast!! lol yes your right!!!. because As a comet approaches the sun a coma or tail forms from gases and dust released from the comet as it thaws in the warming sunlight. The solar wind pushes the tail away from the sun, the tail therefore is always being blown away from the sun no matter what position the comet is in with respect to the sun.
