Anybody have a scientific calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a problem I need to solve with Inverse.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

there are online calculators.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's Window's calculator on every Window's computer that is scientific.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://web2.0calc.com/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha, I didn't know that. Would you mind checking if I'm right? \[x = \sin ^{-1} (7 / 9)\]\[x = \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 0.66

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you explain how you are getting those answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x = \sin^{-1}(7/9)\] x = 0.891122507886653

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Using the calculator given, what would one type?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so using one, i get x = 0.891122507886653 but on calculator i get x = 51.057558731019

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will go with x = 51.057558731019

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*using one calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see that. I'm not explaining myself correctly. Do you hit inverse first? I mean, how do you enter a problem with inverse, for future reference? Like x = sin^inv (7/9) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep push 2nd then Arcsin then the (7/9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem
