I Beleive this one is hypnosis? or not removed by medication and then that's where he used hypnosis?

I'm actually leaning on the third option here.
I can't tell you that I'm 100% sure.

But I do know that some of the symptoms he worked with were not caused by any form of neurological impairment, or brain damage.

For instance, you know the Defense Mechanisms?

Freud outlined them.

He must have met people who were dealing with issues like....Regression,
where they were not behaving like their age,
but rather, they behaved like people who were much younger.

Freud believed that these sorts of issues weren't necessarily caused by brain damage.
Rather, they were caused by life situations that were stressful, and hard to deal with.
