Name a few ocean resources.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We're talking about natural resources that the ocean can give us. Here let me help you along with a question: What's the biggest and most obvious resource that oceans can give us?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

minerals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay minerals are one. Like salt. That's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about....water?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

There's a lot of water in the ocean. Could it be water.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We can also drill the ocean floor for oil. And the ocean also provides us with food. You know, fish.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Wait. There is also lots of fish. Could it be fish?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could there be onyx?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Just a minute. They are always drilling for something in the ocean. What is it? Oh, I thing I remember something about an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Maybe it is oil.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj We don't have to come up with just ONE resource. The question asks us to "name a few ocean resources." We CAN come up with a list of multiple items.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Onyx in the ocean? Really I'm not so sure that we could find onyx in the ocean. But even if we could, how would onyx be considered a natural resource? It's an honest question.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Ok. How about water, fish, oil, minerals? That's a few.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, I agree. Those are the resources I've listed in my comments so far.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.i choose oil.
