Can you please solve the inequality below and graph the solution on a number line 2(x + 5) > 8x – 8

1st you distribute the 2 to (x+5) 2x+10 > 8x -8 next you would subtract 10 on both sides 2x > 8x - 18 then subtract 8x from both sides -6x > -18 Now you would divide each side by -6. Remember when you divide by a negative number you have to switch the sign. x < -12
