@wolfgirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is a regular pyramid you need to find out the base perimeter, multiply it by the height of the sides (when considered as triangles) and divide by two. The height of the side can be found using Pythagoras's formula if you know the height of the pyramid and the length of a side. The side height of a pyramid is also known as the slanted height or L in a formula. Formula:permiter of base x L(side height) ( P of B)(L) p x L(slant) I haven't done this in awhile

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The lateral area of a regular pyramid is 1/2p*l where p is the perimeter of the base and l is the slant height.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wiat do i do 3.14 x l which is i dont know what number that is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm no. The formula would be LA=1/2pl P=the perimeter of the base. The permimeter of the base would be 8(4) because you have four sides of the base. L=22 You multiply P and L and then divide it by 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the perimeter is 8 and 4 we gotta add those both twice 8 + 8 and 4+ 4 = 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the perimeter of the base shoulod be 24 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The perimeter is not 8 and 4. The perimeter is 8x4 because there are 4 sides and they all measure 8m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i thought that sign meant different nevermind redo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

352 is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that's correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol bai!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha bye
