OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The diagram is not drawn to scale.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alrights so ithink yur gunna use SOH CAH TOA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin, cos, tan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok can yuo show me how you would do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait. so what do yu alreadyknow about right triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing at all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no can you show me please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so im not sure but i think yu can use the pythagorean theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cna you do it for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jhonyy9 can you help me

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you know what is the sinus and the cosinus of an angle ? what relation you can write it for using the length of sides so like sinus of an angle is equal the opposite sides divide by hypothenuse ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so because in case of your exercise you dont know the lenght of the opposite side so than you need using cosinus and hence will can you writing that cos 22 = x/11 can you calcule it now the x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do yuo do then

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

for cos 22 you need using a calculator and than will get x= 11*cos 22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what did you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know how to do cos on the calculator
