What's that form of Newton's law where the momentum of two colliding objects starts out strong in object A, and the energy transfers into object B and makes the momentum in object A weaker? If that's not one of the Newton's laws, please tell me. I'm not completely positive :P

its conservation of energy. part of energy of A is transferred to B to start moving it, hence taking away some kinetic energy of A.
