Add and Simplify: 4/x-7 + 1/x-3.
Could you possibly help me?
i was gonna try, but im not sure where to start like i wonder if your supposed to set it equal to 0...?
uh... I have no clue, I think so... do you want some of the answers??
yeah!
okay give me a minute
kk
\[5x-19/x^2-10+21 , x \neq3, 7\] \[3x-5/x^2-10x+21, x \neq3, 7\] \[5/2x-10, x \neq3, 7\] \[5/x-3 x \neq3,7\]
Gosh, that took forever!!
I didn't know how to do the fraction symbol... sorry.
lol
no what?
I think it's the first one.
hmmm.... why are you thinking B??
could you explain?
actually i think c n heres y cuz if u add 4 and 1 u get 5 then x plus x is 2x then -7-3 is -10 so... yeah i think c.
okay, I'm not disagreeing with you completely, I'm just referring to my lesson, (on FLVS) It says for a problem like this you have to find the LCM for the denominators. Does that make sense?
:O yep i definatly think so hold on let me see if i can work it then.
Okay, thank you. It seems better if you know what the lesson says to do so you can help me, thinking of how the lesson would have me do it. :)
..hmmm i am trying to work it n i keep getting lost. lol this is a hard problem. what grade r u?
