in the constitution ... 1.who gets to decide how many federal courts we have? 2.in which cases does the supreme court have original jurisdiction? 3.what must be necessary to convict someone of treason.? 4.what is the topic of article IV? 5. What does the constitution say about how one state must regard the laws of another state. 6.explain Privileges and immunities.
1. It's by statute, so I think legislatures can try to change it but would have a hard time actually passing. 2. Where there's an ambassador or diplomat involved in the action or when a state is a party. So if someone sues Arizona or Texas, the Supreme Ct has original jurisdiction. If it's some other situation, the High Court only hears appeals. 3. I think this refers to Article 3 -- if someone wages war against the US or aiding/housing our enemies. 4. Article 4 is the article describing how state boundaries are laid out and telling how that can be changed. 5. The Constitution has something in it called Full Faith & Credit clause, if I'm not mistaken, wherein each state has to respect the laws and cases of each other state. Records, lawsuits, etc. 6. I think that privileges and immunity is also a clause, and one that restricts a state from infringing upon a citizen's constitutional rights with state laws. I hope this was helpful!
