of the following is NOT a direct object pronoun? me, les, la,lui
what language is this?
if french heres something you can read
"Je le vois" means - I see it you use it when your talking about something and you dont want to repeat the noun, for example if you wanna say .. "the car is blue" ...... (how do you know?) .. "i see it" you wouldnt repeat yourself and say "the car is blue, i see the car" .. so you'd say la voiture est bleue, je le vois. (you'd use this to do an action to something else, like you see the car, your doing the action to the car. the most common type of this is "je t'aime". if you get confused just ask yourself questions. e.g for je t'aime.. who is doing the action? i am ........ je what action am i doing? loving ........ aime who am i doing the action to? you .... te (pronoun) using lui is more difficult because its an indirect object pronoun. (here are the indirect object pronouns) - je ....................... me - tu ....................... te - il/elle .................. lui - nous ................... nous - vous ................... vous - ils/elles .............. leur so you'd use these if you were saying "i am talking to him" or something like that, which would be - je lui parle or another example for the other way around, "he buys books for them" - il leur achète des livres the indirect object pronoun ALWAYS comes after the subject pronoun (the person that is doing the action) for example in this case.... il leur achète des livres IL (subject pronoun) LEUR (indirect object pronoun) ACHETE (conjugated verb) DES LIVRES (noun) this can get really complicated so don't try and rush yourself, theres a book called collins easy learning grammar which is pretty good, im doing a-level french so this was a bit of revision for me aswell haha, also 501 verbs is really good for any conjugated part of any verb in any tense, really useful!
