OpenStudy (anonymous):

tan(theta+pi)+2sin(theta+pi)=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

prove?

OpenStudy (raden):

first, simplify it by using the identities : tan(x+pi) = tanx sin(x+pi) = -sinx

OpenStudy (raden):

so, it can be tanx - 2sinx = 0 sorry, i assumed theta like the x

OpenStudy (raden):

use the identity again, tanx = sinx/cosx sinx/cosx - 2sinx = 0 factor out ! sinx (1/cosx - 2) = 0 for the zeroes take each factor be zero sinx = 0 OR 1/cosx - 2 = 0 solve for x
