We know for a hyperbola that a^2+b^2=c^2. We know that the equation for a hyperbola with center (0,0) is:

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[\frac{x^2}{a^2}-\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

In you example, a = 4 and c = 1. So find b and then write the equation.
