Have you ever heard of ASSIMILATION? ASSIMILATION is where we see something new, and we compare it with something that we already know. For example, a five year old girl sees a camel. She has never seen a camel before, but she HAS seen a horse. And camels KIND OF look like horses, right? They're brown, hairy, and they have four legs. So she points at the camel, and says "Look mommy! Horse!" That's ASSIMILATION. Where we see something new, and we assume it's something that we already know.
