No, because history is really not something that should be filled in by guesses, it could be totally wrong and it won't technically be the real history.

This question, is so funny. Sometimes history is not complete. Do you think historians should fill in the gaps based on their expertise and opinions? Historians fill in the gaps all the time! It's just not taught to you until you get older. It's call predictive history, it's literally a class! It's a room filled with a bunch of students, the teacher puts up a discussion. And the students discuss until they deem something is correct or makes sense some way. Then they provided there findings and try to support it. Usually findings are published, but very little gets accepted unless there is major support behind it.
