how old is the earth
4.54 billion years old
chrislee say thank you !!! lol jk
It actually depends on the religion in Christianity the world is only 4-6 thousand year old or in that case evolution which as @ILoveLove is 4.54.Billion years old
Well from a Science stand point .. No Religion is this case Lol. But that is true boomboom. Awesome point.
Thanks. But i do think that religion does have to do with something in the world like how old it it or in there option how the world was created.
Well can any of you help a girl with this.....
Sorry maybe if it was like 2 or 3 questions but not all 18 sorry.
thats fine....... lol
LOL the "age" of the earth is NOT dependant on what religion you subscribe to.
Lol
no one is sure, but the earth is 6,000 something years old, probably closer to 7,000. :) just thought you should know. :P @chrislee
and and @ILoveLove .
you need to know all points of views Geologically it is believed to be 4.5 billion years old
geology is wrong.
according to Me and Christians it is believed to be 2000 years old as a result we take account of before CHRIST (BC ) and AC. converting to BC you just add 3500 to 2013 which is our current year so as a reult the earth is said to be 5513 BC as from now also the greeks would have different time periods like i am studying now Please keep in mind how important Religion is and how much science has gone wrong particularly with the 2nd law of thermodynamics
of course geology has always been wrong
:)
geology is wrong? and you're right because a book with fairy tales and fables tells you so? please take this nonsensical conversation about how YOU think the world is less than 10, years old, over to the religion board has it has no place here, on a biology board.
@aaronq science can prove that the Bible is not just a book full of fairytales. Take a look @ Noah's ark, people can still see it on the tippy top of MT. Ararat. And there is plenty of proof Evolution is false, http://www.evolutionofacreationist.com/files/TheEvolutionofaCreationist.pdf please read a few pages of the above, I have read it, and it made perfect sense to me. If you still don't see, then read Genesis chapter 1- 3 and please tell me your perspective. :)
Oh Christ people . She asked a Scientific question that was most Likely Multiple Choice and most likely got it right so let it go.
But you mentioned me in a comment and not to be rude, why bud in if it’s not ever your question, No one asked you for your opinion and frankly it’s blowing up my notifications so please, quit it.
kk, bye @LoveLove
@lillybeth123 i skimmed through it, its a bunch of religious propaganda with no scientific basis with arguments like, "Scientists say, “We have a problem. There are not enough stars and moons and asteroids to hold the universe together.” This is called the “Missing Mass” problem. Everything should be flying apart, but it is staying together. A creationist can say, “I know what holds the universe together in spite of the ‘Missing Mass’ problem—the Lord Jesus, the Creator holds it all together by His great power” (Hebrews 1 and Colossians 1). When the Bible refers to science, it may not be exhaustive, but it is accurate. We can trust it." Using the bible as a reference in the attempt to make a point is laughable. Please, stop replying.
@aaronq , u r wats laughable. :D
