x-3+3=7 x=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3 + 3 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get the x's on one side and the numbers on another.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand what your saying @Hope_nicole

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

@Hope_nicole is saying...to get the x's together...and the numbers together however...there is only 1 x here.... simply solve for x x-3+3=7 subtract 3 from both sides x - 3 = 4 add 3 to both sides x = 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well yeah that ^^ if you can look at this problem and notice that -3+3 equals zero great!, if not follow the steps above.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

right...look at the problem with logic first x-3+3=7 you have a -3...and a 3 here right? what is -3 + 3? 0 all we have is x = 7
