We are studying the renaissance right now and we have to pretend to be Leonardo Da Vinci and fill out a job application for a painter. I need help in saying why "I" am suitable for the job.

The Mona Lisa

If you make a job application with just one item in your portfolio listed, you're not going to get the job. Leonardo was a genius by all definitions of the word, he was fond of applying perspective to his art as is clearly seen in his pieces but the true mark of an artist was that not only was he a master painter, he could fair pretty well at just about any field, for example when he sculpted a horse out of bronze for Milan. If you're focusing solely on painting, even with all our modern technology if DaVinci, Raphael, or Michelangelo were still alive today I would look no further if I was looking to commission a piece. DaVinci proved time and again that he could do portraits, i.e. Mona Lisa or Lady with an Ermine, an even battle scenarios such as The Battle of Anghiari.
