In which organelle does photosynthesis take place? Rough endoplasmic reticulum mitochondrion vesicle nucleosome chloroplast

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Photosynthesis occurs in plants, so RER is out. Mitochondria is where the electron transport chain is, so it is used to make energy after the sugar is made (needs photosynthesis to take place first). Vesicles are little bubbles of phospholipid bilayer that contain liquid, nutrients, etc. Nucleosomes have to do with the nucleic acids. Chloroplasts are organelles only plants contain, what do you think their purpose is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to produce photosynthesis! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There you go.

OpenStudy (dean.shyy):

Of course, chloroplasts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's chloroplast
