okayy thank you
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hello
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hes working it out I don't know this to well
OpenStudy (anikhalder):
Multiply eqn 1 with 5 and then subtract eqn 2 from it.
40x + 5y=50
- 6x + 5y=-1
Which results to 34x=51
=> x=3/2
Now substitute the value of x in any eq. say 2..
6*(3/2) +5y=-1
=>9+5y=-1
=>5y=-10
=>y=-2
So, x=3/2 and y=-2
We may easily verify and check the answers

ohhhhhh i understand now
