Which of the following correctly describes the relationship between the stolon and hyphae in fungi? Hyphae can grow to form a stolon above ground. Hyphae store the spores that are produced by the stolon. Hyphae are provided structural support by the stolon. Hyphae produce spores, and the stolon distributes them.

I'm not familiar with the term "stolon," so, your best bet is to probably look up the definitions. I know what a hyphae is, but, I can't really say the answer, as it'd be a mere guess, and it'll probably be wrong, as I again am not sure what "stolon" is.

OpenStudy (falco276):

okay, well I'll just try my best on it. :)

Is there no way you can find the definition of Stolon? Maybe your bio book?

OpenStudy (falco276):

In biology, stolons (from Latin stolō "branch") are horizontal connections between organisms. They may be part of the organism, or of its skeleton; typically, animal stolons are external skeletons.
