You might want to try the rational zeroes theorem...

@ agent smith your on the right track... i figured out i was trying to complete the square method to factor the rest when the quadratic formula is much better choice

Once you find one root, then you can use the quadratic formula for the other two... you just gotta find one and divide it out, then you'll have a quadratic.
