Is there any bias in the following survey question? Explain. Should a state have the power to kill a person for breaking the law?

I think that it depends on what the person did as to break the law. If that person killed a mass clutter of people, like the Sandy Hook children, than yes, i think the state should not kill, but make that man/women suffer for what they have done. Not only did that person killed those people, but also they killed something in their loved ones. But just killing a person for robbing into a home or a store, i don't believe killing that person can do anything to make him/her think of what they did. So, in the end, it totally depends on what the person did to receive some kind of punishment.
