@HawkCrimson

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[P=\frac{gw}{g+w}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi Mertsj.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Is that the problem? And you are supposed to solve it for w?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Hi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is the problem

OpenStudy (mertsj):

1. Multiply both sides of the equation by g+w 2. Distribute the P on the left side 3. Subtract Pw from both sides 4. Factor out w on the right side 5. Divide both sides by g+P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, I did all that I was asking if my answer was correct :)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

5. divide both sides by g-P 6. Answer should be: \[\frac{Pg}{g-P}\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes. Good for you. Just what you have.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you. :)
