I don't get it

OpenStudy (notamathgenius):

4cups are in 1 quart and she needs to fill 4 quarts so you take 4+4=8+4=12+4=16 16 cups are in 4 quarts.

But - the answers are : 7 cups 9 cups 11 cups 13 cups and she already put 9 cups.

OpenStudy (notamathgenius):

Oh Ok so you take 16-9=what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, 7 is the answer, right?

OpenStudy (notamathgenius):

Correct 9+7=16 ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 is the answer because your question says that (1 =4 cups) okay then if you have 7 cause you would have 67 because you add 9 more :) hope this helps
