Interesting how I thought you'd have been able to do this, no sweat :D To get the image when reflected along the y-axis, simply negate the x-coordinates ^.^

Negate... think of it this way, the image of a point that is reflected across the y-axis is as follows \[\huge (x,y)\rightarrow(-x,y)\]

It is this one^ Refer to this...\[\huge (x,y)\rightarrow(-x,y)\] I told you, you only negate the x-coordinate, which means, the left one :P
