Which is the best description of the graph of the inequality y<2x-3? Solid line crossing the y axis at -3, slope of -2, shaded above the line. Solid line crossing the y-axis at -3, slope of 2, shaded above the line. Solid line crossing the y-axis at -3, slope of 2, shaded below the line. Dotted line crossing the y-axis at -3, slope of 2, shaded above the line. Dotted line crossing the y-axis at -3, slope of 2, shaded below the line.

no solid line under the inequality; no solid line on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

≤,≥,= all have a solid line under them so they graph a solid line

I thought it was Dotted line crossing the y-axis at -3, slope of 2, shaded below the line.

dunno yet, the top scrolled out of view; but lets test 0,0 since its not on th eline itself 0 > -3 is true so whereever the origin lies is our solution area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 00 is above 0-3 so id say the 3rd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I gotcha, thanks! :)
