3y=2y+3... how'd i solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldn't i get rid of the 3y first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3y = 2y + 3 Minus 2y from both sides of the equation 3y = 2y + 3 -2y -2y Then you get: 1y = 3 y = 3
