OpenStudy (mertsj):

Do you know what a median of a triangle is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, a median of a triangle is a line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposing side @Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So which one of those equations of lines does not go the the midpoint of a side. One is very obvious.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=0 ?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

x=0 is the equation of the y axis. It looks to me like the y axis does go from a vertex to a midpoint.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so y=0 is not the equation that does not go to the middle of the side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes. y=0 is the equation of the x axis and it clearly goes from vertex to vertex.

Thank you! :)
